Review: Hai Yan BBQ Seafood

Was invited to do a food review for Hai Yan BBQ, thus I invited Alene along. Had a good catch up with her too! Thankyou for joining me despite such a late invite. ;)

HaiYan has been operated by the Foo Family since 1983. They had won quite a number of awards and was featured on Channel U.

Their home made Balachan and Chinchalok that got the other bloggers raving about.

My Favourite Vegetable of all times- Baby KaiLan $6/$8/$12

Im not a salted egg person but the fact that I kept popping these into my mouth just prove how awesome these Salted Egg Chicken are. $15/$20/$25

The super chewy Sotong $12/$15/$20

Super fresh Giant Tiger prawns that was thrown in for our review! The garlic was sooo yummy when put together unto the prawn de taste was really out of the world. $8/100gm.

1 of the shell foods that I do eat. Their special Chili lala that tasted different from elsewhere.

Loved the stingray with the sambal sauce. Cant take spicy food well but I enjoyed this. $12/$15/$20

Last but not least, Black Pepper Crab which was fresh and the look of it was soo appetizing. $5/100gm.

Thank you for inviting us for such a wonderful meal. I enjoyed the food that was served to me and would love to be back again in the near future.

Went back to J7 for a new set of dye. This time round I decided to go dark and single toned. Have been having colourful hair for almost a year now. So, decided to go back to basic. The moment I reached the salon Jeft took out this new dyes and showed me the awesome samples they have. This new dye is ORGANIC(meaning its 100% ammonia and parabens free). Absolutely ok for pregnant/breastfeeding mummies!

Jeft used the following colours for me and am loving the outcome of dye. You would be able to see the violet under sunlight if not it looks like a lil brown/red under normal light.

Not to mention J7image is selected to be given this award based on their service, work and client comments. Congrats to them for being selected to have this award.

Hi ladies, 1stly I would like to apologise for the long hiatus. Have been rather lazy updating my blog and cos i haven been taking pics with my camera too. Anyway, i realised despite me not updating I still received de same no. Of readership daily! Thankyou for the support! I would try to schedule a few blog post as I do have quite a no. Of nail pics to upload. 

 

 

d'Good Cafe

Took sometime off last monday and metup with the girlfriend for some catchup and passing her the contacts I got for her during my taiwan trip. Cant wait for our boracay trip in August.

Since we both stays in the west, we decided to head to HollandV for d'Good Cafe for brunch. The mocha I had was pretty nice, Im not a fan of coffee thus I prefer my drink more chocolaty, so love their mocha. (: The place is pretty nice with very good decos and its quite a good place to chill but lightening were pretty sucky until we shifted to the swing seats.

Food was alright, pricing was pretty ok for the portion they gives, the place is rather crowded during lunch time so, if you do try to avoid the lunch crowd if possible.
